# How to Add a Note to a Contact Profile

## Add notes <a href="#h_01fyq7jegvv66z6trrsf51e42r" id="h_01fyq7jegvv66z6trrsf51e42r"></a>

Create and update notes on a contact to help you manage ongoing conversations, follow-ups, and important details.

#### To add notes with the contact preview:

* Open the **Contacts tab** from your **Dashboard**.
* Select the name of the contact you wish to add your note to.
* Click the `…` icon to open more actions.
* Click **Add a note**.
* Enter your desired note.
* Then, click **Add Note**:

#### To add notes in the Contacts Profile:

* Open the **Contacts tab** from your **Dashboard**.
* Select the name of the contact you wish to add your note to.
* Click **Open full profile** from their contact preview.
* Open **Notes**.
* Enter your desired note.
* Click **Add Note**:

### Delete notes

Remove notes to keep a contact’s profile clean and up to date.

#### To delete notes:

* Open the **Contacts tab** from your **Dashboard**.
* Select the name of the contact you wish to add your note to.
* Click **Open full profile** from their contact preview.
* Open **Notes**.
* Locate the note you wish to remove.
* Click **Delete**.
* Confirm your desire to delete the note by clicking **Delete** again when prompted:
