# How to Delete a Contact

Learn to delete contacts and customers from your list.

Deleted Contacts or Customers are **permanently removed**, including all related records such as product access and course progress. This data **cannot be recovered**.

#### Delete a contact

* Open the **Contacts** tab from your Dashboard.
* Select the Contact or Customer you want to delete.
* Open the **More Actions** menu.
* Click the **Delete** icon.
* Review the deletion warning and confirm your intent in the popup.
* Click **Confirm**

And that’s how you delete a contact in Hifunnel.

* If you re-import a deleted contact, their previous information will **not** be restored.
* Additionally, attempting to resubscribe a contact by deleting and re-importing them will require a **double opt-in confirmation** before they can receive marketing emails again.
