# How to Perform Bulk Actions in the Contacts tab

### What are bulk actions?

Bulk actions let you make changes to a larger group of contacts directly from your **Contacts tab**.

They’re designed to speed up common tasks (like revoking access to an Offer, registering contacts for an Event, adding Tags, and more) without having to open each profile one by one.

### How to perform a bulk action

#### To toggle the bulk action options in the Contacts tab:

* Open the **Contacts tab** from the **Dashboard**.
* Filter your contacts to narrow your List or select [Custom Segments.](/hifunnel-help-center/documentation/contacts/manage-your-contacts/how-to-segment-your-contacts.md#custom-segments)
* Check Select All.
* Open the Actions dropdown menu.
* Select the Action you wish to apply.
* Follow the prompts.
* Click Submit:

### Export

[Export CSV](/hifunnel-help-center/documentation/contacts/manage-your-contacts/how-to-export-your-contacts.md) of your entire list or a segmented selection.

### Unsubscribe

Unsubscribe contacts from all <mark style="color:red;">marketing emai</mark>l communication in bulk.

Note:\
Bulk unsubscribes and bulk deletions export the list to the email address associated with your Hifunnel account so you can recover unsubscribed or deleted contacts if needed. Make sure to download the CSV within 3 days; after that, the link will expire.

Use extreme caution and discretion when bulk deleting. Do not run the action until you are absolutely certain there is no other way to accomplish your goal. Once a contact is deleted, we cannot restore them.
