# Create and Sell Downloadable Files as a Product

Learn to create and sell your downloadable files as a separate Product Type to your audience.

### What is Hifunnel’s Downloads Product?

Monetize your knowledge and content by selling downloadable files. With **Hifunnel Downloads**, you can deliver your downloadable content behind a secure paywall.

#### Unlimited Download Products

Create as many Download Products as your business needs. With Hifunnel Downloads, you can add 1, 10, or even more downloadable files, all while counting as **a single Product**.

For example, if you create 6 Download Products with several files in each, they will still count as only six Products in your Hifunnel plan.

#### Customer experience

When customers purchase a Downloads Product, they can access their files from their **Member Library**.

Inside the Downloads Product, customers will see and access all downloadable files included in the Product they purchased.

### How to create a Downloads Product

To create a Downloads Product:

1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Downloads**.
3. Click **+ New download**.

Then, follow the on-screen instructions to create your new **Downloads Product**:

#### Enter your Download details:

* **Title**
* **Description**
* **Thumbnail image** (displayed in your customer’s Library)
* **Upload your files** by clicking **Choose files**. You can add more files after creating your Downloads Product.
* Price your download by creating a new **Offer**, or click **Skip for now** to price it later.\

After creating your Downloads Product, you can:

* Update your Downloads Product files
* View the Offer(s) connected to your Product
* View Customers who purchased the Product
* Update your Downloads details in **Product Settings**
* Preview your Product
* Share the link to your Offer

### Update files in your Downloads Product

You can add, remove, or update the titles of your downloadable files by accessing the **Files** tab within your Downloads Product.

#### To add more files to your Downloads Product:

1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Downloads**.
3. Select the **Downloads Product** you want to update.
4. Open the **Files** tab.
5. Click **Add files**.

From here, you can continue managing your downloadable files as needed.

#### To remove files from your Downloads Product:

1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Downloads**.
3. Select the **Downloads Product** that you wish to update.
4. Open the **Files** tab.
5. Locate the file you wish to delete.
6. Open the More actions menu `…`.
7. Select **Delete**.
8. Confirm your desire to delete.

If you accidentally remove a file from your **Downloads Product**, you can simply re-upload the file by following the same steps used to add files to your Product.

#### To edit your file title:

1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Downloads**.
3. Select the **Downloads Product** that you wish to update.
4. Open the **Files** tab.
5. Locate the file you wish to update.
6. Open the More actions menu `…`.
7. Select **Edit file**.
8. Enter your new file name.
9. Click **Save** to keep and apply your changes.
