# How to send a screenshot to support

### How to take a screenshot <a href="#h_01f60h0zrqkzfr545anc95w8hh" id="h_01f60h0zrqkzfr545anc95w8hh"></a>

Depending on the device you’re using (Windows, Mac, or iPhone), the steps may vary.

#### **On Windows:**

You can take a screenshot on Windows using the **Snipping Tool**, which is included by default.

When you capture a snip, it will open in the Snipping Tool window where you can edit, save, and share it.

To save your screenshot:

* After capturing a snip, click **Save**
* Choose a file name and location, then click **Save**

**On Mac:**

On a Mac, you can take a screenshot using the built-in **Screenshot** tool.

By default, screenshots are saved to your desktop with the name\
`Screen Shot [date] at [time].png`.

**On iPhone:**

You can easily take a screenshot on an iPhone using the standard hardware buttons.

To find your screenshots:

* Open **Photos**
* Go to **Albums → Media Types → Screenshots**
