**TIP**

You can give customers access to your Product(s) and services for free by creating a **Free Offer** or by [Granting an Offer.](/hifunnel-help-center/documentation/sales/offers/how-to-grant-an-offer.md)

Both Free Offers and Granted Offers provide free access to your content. However, there is an important difference between the two:

* **Free Offers** require customers to go through the **Offer Checkout** process.
* **Granted Offers** do not use the checkout process. Instead, customers receive an **Offer Confirmation Email** and, if they are new and subscribed to marketing emails, a **Member Welcome Email**.

When offering free access, be sure to choose the option that best fits your business needs when creating Free Offers or granting Offers.
### Customizing your free offer

If the selected **Offer Pricing** option is **Free**, there are no additional pricing fields to configure.

However, you can override the default **Price text**.

If you want to customize how the price is displayed, enter a custom phrase in the **Price text override** field to describe the Offer price.
