# How to Grant an Offer

Granting an Offer on **Hifunnel** is an effective way to give customers free access to your Product(s), such as using an Offer as a **lead magnet**, providing a **preview**, or granting **additional access** to existing customers (without requiring any payment from the customer).

Follow this guide to learn how to **grant an Offer**.

### Granting an Offer <a href="#h_01f68kcbxhrf1xepch4bd1fctg" id="h_01f68kcbxhrf1xepch4bd1fctg"></a>

Give free access to the Product(s) and services included in an Offer by **granting an Offer** on Hifunnel.

When an Offer is granted, the customer will receive an **Offer Confirmation Email**.\
If the customer is new, they will also receive a **Member Welcome Email** containing their login information.

Granting an Offer is similar to creating a **Free Offer**, but it gives you more flexibility. You can sell an Offer as a paid Offer while still granting free access to specific customers when needed.

Although both **Granted Offers** and **Free Offers** provide free access to your content, there is an important difference:

* **Free Offer** purchases require customers to go through the **Offer Checkout** process
* **Granted Offers** do **not** require customers to go through checkout

**Note:**

If you have customized **Product access** settings for the Product connected to an Offer, granting the Offer will **not** change the configured access dates.\
However, if you grant an Offer **after** the specified access start date, the customer will receive **immediate access** to the Product.

### Grant an offer to multiple contacts <a href="#h_01f24ey7p2wyhpk3s2h63gfbb8" id="h_01f24ey7p2wyhpk3s2h63gfbb8"></a>

Give access to the Product(s) included with your Offer to multiple contacts with [bulk actions](/hifunnel-help-center/documentation/contacts/manage-your-contacts/how-to-perform-bulk-actions-in-the-contacts-tab.md):

* Open the Contacts tab from your Dashboard.
* Then, select All Contacts.
* Search and select your desired contacts from your list or segment and filter your desired contacts:
* Open the **Bulk Actions** menu.
* Click **Grant Offer**:
* Select the **Offer** you wish to grant.
* Click **Submit** to apply the bulk action:

#### Why my customers don't receive my Offer Grant Email?

Granting an Offer to **existing customers** will automatically send the **Offer Grant Confirmation Email**, as long as they are subscribed to receive your marketing emails.

For **new customers** who are imported into your site with a granted Offer, they will receive both the **Offer Grant Confirmation Email** and the **Member Welcome Email**.
