# Add a Mailto Link with a CTA

Learn how to create mailto links (mailto:) with optional subject lines, CC, BCC, and pre-filled body text for CTA buttons in Hifunnel.

A **mailto link** is a clickable button or text link that automatically opens your site visitor's default email client (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, or Gmail) with a new email draft pre-addressed to your support or sales email.

In Hifunnel, adding a mailto link to Call to Action (CTA) buttons or contact widgets allows potential clients to reach you instantly without filling out lengthy forms.

## Basic Mailto Link Syntax

To create a basic email link, use the `mailto:` prefix followed by your email address:

* **Basic Syntax**: `mailto:[your-email@domain.com]`
* **Example**: `mailto:support@hifunnel.vn`

## Advanced Mailto Parameters (Subject, CC, BCC, Body)

You can extend your mailto links to automatically pre-fill email parameters such as Subject line, CC, BCC, and initial Body message:

* **Subject Line**: `?subject=Inquiry%20About%20Course` *(Note: Use `%20` for spaces)*
* **CC Recipient**: `?cc=sales@hifunnel.vn`
* **BCC Recipient**: `?bcc=audit@hifunnel.vn`
* **Body Text**: `?body=Hello%20Hifunnel%20Team,%0A%0AI%20would%20like%20to%20learn%20more.` *(Note: Use `%0A` for line breaks)*

### Combining Multiple Parameters

When combining multiple parameters, use `?` for the first parameter and `&` for subsequent parameters:

* **Full Example**: `mailto:support@hifunnel.vn?subject=Course%20Inquiry&body=Hi%20there,%20I'm%20interested%20in%20your%20coaching%20program.`

## How to Add a Mailto Link to a CTA Button

#### Step 1: Select CTA Button

In the Page Builder canvas, click the **Button / CTA Widget** you want to configure (e.g., "Email Support Now").

#### Step 2: Open Button Action Settings

In the left sidebar settings panel, locate **Button Action** (or Link Destination).

#### Step 3: Select "Go to a URL"

In the action dropdown, select **Go to a URL**.

#### Step 4: Enter Mailto URL

In the URL text field, paste your mailto string (e.g., `mailto:support@hifunnel.vn?subject=Support%20Request`).
