# How to Add Pages to Your Website

### Pages

Pages are often the first thing visitors interact with on your site, so they play a big role in what people do next.

The Pages area in your Website gives you an overview of three categories of Pages available in Hifunnel: Website, Landing, and Funnel Pages.

Tip:\
If you’re deciding which type to build, it helps to know that Website Pages share the same Header and Footer settings, while Landing Pages do not.

To access the Pages area of your Website:

* Open Website from the Dashboard.
* Select either Website Pages or Landing Pages.
* Navigate between the Website, Landing, and Funnels tabs:

### Website Pages

Website Pages are system-generated based on the template you select. They’re ideal for building out your main site because each page shares consistent elements tied to your chosen template.

Each system-generated Website Page serves a different purpose. But sometimes you’ll want to add additional pages.

To create a new Website Page:

* Open Website from the Dashboard.
* Select either Website Pages or Landing Pages.
* In the top right corner, click + New Website Page.
* Enter your Page Name.
* Click Customize Page to generate your new Website Page and begin customizing:

### Landing Pages

Landing Pages are standalone pages you can connect to email campaigns, events, automations, and more.

Because Landing Pages are created independently, each one can use a different template.

Landing Pages are useful for promotions, Sales Pages for individual Offers, custom waitlist pages, custom thank you pages, and more.

#### To create a new Landing Page:

* Open Website from the Dashboard.
* Select either Website Pages or Landing Pages.
* Click the Landing tab.
* In the top right corner, click + New Landing Page.
* Select the template that best fits your vision.
* Click Get Started.
* Enter your Page Title (this title will reflect in the Page URL in your site visitor’s browser tab).
* Click Create to generate your new Page and begin customizing:

### Funnel Pages

<mark style="color:red;">Funnels</mark> are built to attract visitors to an opt-in page, capture information, and deliver content afterward.

Funnels are commonly used for webinars, free downloads, sales presentations, and more.

Funnels are created in the Marketing section of Hifunnel. Each time a Funnel is generated, its pages are automatically populated in the Funnels tab of the Pages section.

To create a new Funnel Page:

* Open Marketing from the Dashboard.
* Select the Funnels tab.
* Select the Funnel that you would like to edit.
* Hover your cursor between your existing pages.
* Select + Add Page.
* Select New Landing Page and click Next.
* Choose a Page Type and click Next.
* Choose your Page Style and click Next.
* Enter your Page Name.
* Click Save to generate your new Funnel Page:
